Scott’s professional journey began with service to his country as a U.S. Navy Advanced Electronics graduate and medaled veteran recognized for his role in the Iran Hostage Rescue mission. His military background laid the foundation for a career defined by discipline, leadership, and forward thinking.
Over the past 40 years, Scott has built an impressive career in semiconductor manufacturing and industrial technology, specializing in front-end capital processing equipment and large-scale engineering projects. He founded a global engineering company that designed and manufactured new and refurbished semiconductor equipment, as well as spent nuclear fuel handling systems used for the safe shutdown and decommissioning of nuclear power plants. His company’s success and innovation led to its acquisition by a Fortune 500 corporation, reflecting his ability to deliver value and growth through advanced engineering and strategic leadership.
Throughout his career, Scott has earned recognition from some of the industry’s most respected organizations. He received the Motorola Supplier Excellence Award, was named to Motorola’s Digital DNA community, and was honored by Ashland Specialty Chemical for his accomplishments in business development and joint venture partnerships. His extensive background in engineering, manufacturing, and global business development makes him a driving force in expanding Glasslined TechnologiesTM capabilities and customer relationships across diverse markets.
Beyond his professional achievements, Scott is known for his dedication to community and the outdoors. He is an avid fisherman and passionate supporter of the Tunnels to Towers Foundation and the Georgia Chapter of Safari Club International’s Cast & Blast events, both of which support wounded warriors. His commitment to service, integrity, and teamwork reflects the same values that guide Glasslined TechnologiesTM every day.
