Honoring Those Who Served - Lake Lanier Outing
Veterans participate in the Lake Lanier fishing tournament alongside volunteer boat captains.
At Glasslined Technologies, we believe supporting our communities means more than the work we do every day. It also means taking the time to recognize the people whose service and sacrifice have made those communities possible.
Recently, our team had the privilege of participating in the Georgia Safari Club International Veterans Fishing Weekend on beautiful Lake Lanier. The annual event brings together veterans, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters for a weekend centered around appreciation, fellowship, and the outdoors.
The weekend kicked off with a welcome dinner at Rooster's Cafe, where veterans and volunteers gathered to share a meal, swap stories, and build new friendships before heading out on the water. It set the tone for what would become a memorable weekend filled with gratitude and camaraderie.

The following day, veterans enjoyed a morning fishing tournament on Lake Lanier, spending time outdoors alongside volunteer boat captains and fellow participants. While there was certainly some friendly competition, the true focus of the event was creating meaningful experiences and giving veterans the opportunity to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the company of others who understand the value of service.
That evening, everyone came together once again for a dinner cruise and awards ceremony aboard the Annabelle. As the sun set over Lake Lanier, veterans, families, volunteers, and sponsors celebrated a successful weekend while recognizing tournament participants and reflecting on the purpose behind the event.

Glasslined Technologies was honored to be part of this incredible weekend. Opportunities like these remind us that investing in our communities extends far beyond business. It's about supporting organizations that make a lasting difference and recognizing the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.
We're grateful to Georgia Safari Club International, the volunteers, event organizers, sponsors, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this weekend possible. Most importantly, we extend our sincere thanks to every veteran who participated.
Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice continue to inspire us, and we are proud to stand alongside those who are committed to honoring your service.
We look forward to supporting this outstanding event for years to come.
